Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information MarketNarc (“MarketNarc,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. We’ve tried to keep it plain and honest. If anything here is unclear, email us at anthonye@aexperiences.studio.

The short version

Most of what MarketNarc remembers — your watchlist, your settings, which calls you’ve seen — is stored on your own device and never leaves it. When you ask Nate or run an analysis, your request is sent to our AI provider so he can answer. Market prices and any trades go through Alpaca, your brokerage connection. When you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. MarketNarc is educational — not financial advice, and it starts in a fake-money sandbox; real money stays off until you deliberately turn it on. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

Things you type or ask. When you ask Nate a question or run an analysis on a stock, we process that request to generate his reply and the call.
Saved on your device. Your watchlist, risk setting, confidence threshold, which signals you’ve seen, any paper-trading practice, and your settings are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. We don’t copy this to our servers.
Account & email. If you join the early-access list or create an account, we keep your email address to let you know when MarketNarc opens and to run your account — nothing more.
Payment information. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly. We receive only confirmation that a subscription is active — not your full card number.
Brokerage connection. If you connect Alpaca for paper or live trading, your brokerage keys and trade activity are held by Alpaca under their terms. We use them only to place the paper or real orders you direct — MarketNarc never holds your money.
Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, and time of visit) to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

To run the app: generate calls, the Learn lessons, your watchlist, and your analyst Nate.
To personalize gently — for example, applying your risk setting and remembering your watchlist.
To process and manage your subscription.
To place the paper or live trades you direct, through Alpaca.
To keep the service secure, fix problems, and improve it.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make the app work, and only as needed:

Anthropic — powers Nate’s analysis and written answers. Your questions and the data for a stock are sent to Anthropic to generate replies. (Anthropic privacy)
Alpaca — supplies market data and handles paper and live trading. If you connect a brokerage, your account and trades go through Alpaca. (Alpaca privacy)
Stripe — processes subscription payments. (Stripe privacy)
Vercel — hosts the website and serves the app. (Vercel privacy)
Google Play (and, later, the Apple App Store) — distributes the app and may handle store-billed purchases under their own terms. (Google privacy)

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or our company. We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Data stored on your device stays until you clear it (you can remove it anytime by clearing your browser’s site data). Your email and account records are kept while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Subscription records held by Stripe, and brokerage data held by Alpaca, are kept as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations. Requests sent to our AI provider are handled under their policy.

Your choices and rights

On-device data: clear your browser’s storage for the app to erase your watchlist, settings, and progress.
Brokerage: you can disconnect Alpaca at any time, and manage or close your brokerage account directly with Alpaca.
Your account and personal data: to access, correct, or delete information, or to ask a privacy question, email anthonye@aexperiences.studio. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests.

Money, risk & not financial advice

MarketNarc is an educational tool. Its calls are explanations, not recommendations to buy or sell any security, and nothing in the app is personalized investment advice. The app defaults to a paper-trading sandbox with fake money; live trading through Alpaca turns on only with a deliberate, clearly-warned opt-in. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal — you always make the decision.

Children

MarketNarc involves investing and brokerage and is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. (Our separate kids’ learning products, when offered, are handled under their own child-privacy terms.) If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and our payment, brokerage, and AI providers maintain their own safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data protected.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll change the effective date above, and significant changes will be reflected here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
